Sunshine Ace Hardware eclipses $500K in donations to Children’s Miracle Network

Sunshine Ace Hardware’s annual Holiday Round Up raised $56,489, pushing the company’s cumulative fundraising total for Children’s Miracle Network above the $500,000 mark.

From Nov. 1 to Dec. 24, customers at Sunshine Ace Hardware retail stores in Collier, Lee, Charlotte and Pinellas counties joined those at Crowder Bros. Ace Hardware locations in Manatee County in rounding up their purchases or choosing a specific dollar amount to donate at check-out. Sunshine Ace Hardware also matched a portion of donations. The 2025 Holiday Round Up campaign brought Sunshine Ace Hardware’s cumulative fundraising total to $544,541 in support of Children’s Miracle Network.

“From pediatric health care and youth programs to water quality, our customers and associates are always generous supporters of charitable causes,” said Michael Wynn, president of Sunshine Ace Hardware. “When our community comes together to make a difference in the lives of local children and families, we make every cent count.”

Sunshine Ace Hardware is the leading Ace retailer in Florida for fundraising, with two stores ranking in the top 30 nationwide: Lakewood Ranch ranked No. 6 and Bradenton ranked No. 26 in the U.S. for top fundraising.

Donations made at Sunshine Ace Hardware stores in Collier, Lee and Charlotte counties support Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida through Children’s Miracle Network, a nonprofit organization that helps cover the costs of patient services for children and families, charitable care for patients lacking sufficient funds or insurance, and education programs for patients, families and the community.

Donations at Sunshine Ace Hardware in Pinellas County and Crowder Bros. Ace Hardware stores in Manatee County support Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg through Children’s Miracle Network.

Donations also allow hospitals to purchase life-saving equipment and provide vital health care services, innovative research and child life services.

Sunshine Ace Hardware declared Children’s Miracle Network as its primary charitable partner in December 2019. The Naples-based company hosts a series of fundraising campaigns throughout the year.
