STARability Foundation was joined by more than 500 participants at its 8th Annual Run, Walk and Roll 5K on Saturday, Oct. 18, at Baker Park in Naples. The exciting, inclusive event raised over $90,000, which will be used to meet the community’s growing needs by expanding STARability’s innovative, life-transforming programs and services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Presented by Inspired Closets SWFL, the race was timed by Florida Race Day and emceed by WINK News anchor Taylor Petras. Vicki Tracy and STAR participant Molly K. served as the Grand Marshal duo. The event was supported by co-chairs Meg and Tyler Hardt and committee members Gabriella DeLuca, Justin Jaffry, Courtney Kyle and Chelsea Pittman. Overall winners of the race included James Alley in first place, Beth Marzigliano in second place and Devin Demenezes in third place.
“This special event means so much to Tyler and I because it brings our community together while shining a spotlight on the incredible talents and abilities of our STARs,” said Meg Hardt.
