NAPLES, FL., -- September 5, 2023— Barron Collier Companies (BCC) today announces the appointment of JJ Wong as Chief Operating Officer. Guided by the objectives set by the CEO, management team and the Board of Directors, Wong will provide leadership, management, and vision necessary to ensure the organization has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and staffing systems in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiencies. In this role, Wong will collaborate with the various departments to develop operational strategies and is charged with facilitating these efforts across operations.

Wong began his career in 1996 at Rassini Suspensions in Piedras, Mexico, who are the world’s largest producer of suspension components for light commercial vehicles. He was the Operations Director where he managed three manufacturing plants with over 2,000 employees, R&D products, Process & Product Engineering and managed the budget for CAPEX for continuous improvement, facility adequation and Automation projects. Wong received his bachelor’s degree in industrial & Electronics Engineering, a Master of Engineering in Quality Systems and, Business Education in Advance Management Programs from IPADE in Mexico and Harvard Business School in USA.
